Finding books in the JSCC Library

Getting Help in Finding Information

To get help in finding information, contact the JSCC Library:

Finding Books through Google

If the library doesn't have a book you need, you can find a reference to a book using Google books.  Sometimes part of the book is given to you.

If you need a book or article that the Jackson State Community College Library doesn't own, please contact Carrie Baker at 731-424-3520 ext. 50572 or by email at cbaker34@jscc.edu
Provide her with the author, title, date of publication and publisher.

The Library will then ask another library to loan us the book.  We use the Online College Library Center to connect us to most academic libraries in the country.

It takes about 2 weeks for a book to be sent here from another library.
