Media Services

Allow a minimum of three business days’ notice for work orders.  Include the ACTUAL start time of the event.  When events are scheduled on their calendar, know that they allow for the needed time to set-up.  By stating a different start time, it restricts them from being able to assist other needs on campus.

Amphitheater - Monitor Marketing

To share information on TV screens in campus buildings, the easiest way is to make flyers in landscape orientation and email them to the college media services contact or the department in charge of monitor promotions. The official resolution for Chattanooga State's Amphitheater Monitors is 1920 width by 1080 height, or you can use Adobe Video and Film Present for HDTV 1080. However, anything sent in Landscape orientation can go right on there.

Social Media Ambassadors

The Chattanooga State Marketing Department has a Coordinator of Social Media and Multimedia Production named Heidi Cawood. She put together a group titled the “social media ambassadors.” This group is made up of folks who can help "Like" and "Share" select posts, tweets, etc.  Heidi anticipates having two to five a month including event info, TN Promise, registration info, etc. Individuals may share more if there are additional posts or tweets of particular interest to them relating to the college experience. Ambassadors will be emailed links that they can then share on their social networks. FB users will also be notified in a group message.
