Welcome to the Library Boot Camp

What: Please join the JSCC Librarians for a 3 part workshop focusing on Research and Writing Workshops.

When: Sept. 13 & 14 - 1pm-2pm; Oct. 18 & 19 ~ 1pm-2:30pm; Nov. 8 & 9 ~ 1pm-2pm

Who: All JSCC students and interested Faculty & Staff

Where: Library Instruction Room or Zoom (register ahead of time to get the link)

Using Sources

Are you confused about how to use sources in your research papers?

Learn how to figure out the authority of sources. Librarians will talk about the importance of authority in using sources followed by exercises to put the workshop into practice.

Are you confused about how to quote from an original source?

Learn how to narrow your topic, find resources, and form a hypothesis question. Librarians will talk about the process of research followed by exercises to put the workshop into practice.
