On May 30, 2005, Natalee Holloway disappeared without a trace while on a high school graduation trip in Aruba. The search for her lasted until January 12, 2012, when she was declared dead. Multiple arrests were made but nothing came of it. A lot of complications occurred with the case as in she was a US citizen in Dutch territory.
