Federally-Sponsored Resources

  • U.S. Courts
    • Official site for the Federal Courts of the United States. Used for locating Federal Courts, identifying judges, pulling court records, and acts as an aggregate for the rules and policies of Federal Courts.
  • Federal Judicial Center
    • Education and research hub of the Federal Court system. Can be used to access all publishings of the FJC,  in addition to the accrued research and history of the FJC.
  • U.S. Supreme Court
    • Official site of the U.S. Supreme Court; allows users to track current cases/hearings and access previous case records/rulings and basic information about the court.

  • U.S. Supreme Court Decisions (1990 - Present)
    • Collection of all Supreme Court rulings from 1990 to the present, provided via Cornell Law School.
  • The American Bar Association
    • Official source for all matters pertaining to the ABA. Provides users with access to initiative statements, ABA groups, membership options, and a variety of ABA-related sources, such as the ABA Journal and Podcast Hub.
  • JUSTIA
    • This is a privately-owned database presenting users with various methods of information retrieval on matters pertaining to the law. Federal and state laws can be researched here, as well as relevant tangential information. ​​​​​​​
