Science and Technology

  • U.S. Geological Survey
    • Federal source for geological statistics, phenomena, and data pertaining to climate and geology conditions. Provides users with maps, images, comparative visuals, data sheets, publications, web tools and software relevant to geological analysis.
  • National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
    • Provides information on marine life, fisheries, climate, coasts, and links to various related sites. Also provides tools such as satellite visuals, weather forecasts and fishery data.
  • Research.Gov
    • Designed to provide a means of grant management for research communities. Can be used to prepare and submit grant proposals, review proposals, and submit project reports.
  • Climate.Gov
    • Used for tracking climate change, greenhouse gasses, arctic ice, carbon dioxide levels, sea levels, ocean heat, etc.
  • National Institute of Standards and Technology
    • Non-regulatory agency, promotes innovation of industry and applied sciences. Website houses publications relevant to NIST, can be retrieved via the advanced search tool.
  • Science.Gov
    • Houses several databases and website resources, all of which constitute federal science information. Utilize advanced or keyword search to find databases, websites or documents/periodicals.

  • Health and Human Services
    • Site dedicated to providing the public with health information. Updates on coronavirus are posted frequently, in addition to providing users with a list of laws and regulations relevant to public health. Links to other relevant sites are also posted under the ‘Programs and Services” tab.

Other

  • Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs
    • This site can be used for multiple purposes. Should one be in search of government regulations, they can consult Reginfo.gov. If a user needs to monitor regulatory actions at any stage, they will be available on this site.
